Soccer

Ryker has his last soccer game tonight. (which is actually a make up game) He has had a great time playing and surprises me every time with how talented he is. This kid is very athletic. (wonder where he gets it..........;)) Go Bears!

I wish it would have been a little warmer at his games.......
Now on to T-ball.....his second practice is today and then his games start next Tuesday.
No rest for the weary......I am super excited for T-ball!

Bike Riding

On the days that it is even remotely warm outside we go out and ride bikes or scooters or do whatever as long as we are outside. Well when we were at the park one day one of Reagan's friends was riding her bike around with out training wheels. Reagan then went home and said she wanted to ride her bike with just two wheels like Carly. I said okay but it might take a while to learn and you will probably fall off a lot but that is okay you just get back up and try again. See I really didn't think she would get it. Boy was I wrong. She got on that thing and pretty much just did it. She fell off quite a few times really but for some reason she knew she was going to fall and just jumped off so she only got hurt once. Half an hour after starting she wasa cruising around pretty well she just didn't know how to turn and stay up yet. The next day she went our again and kept trying and got down the turning. Now she likes to go out and ride all the time. She just goes goes goes......she hasn't learned how to stop yet. Which is weird cause when kids first ride a bike like this they push the pedals backwards instead of forward. We will keep working. She like to go for rides around the block with Skyler and Ryker.

I am very impressed that she picked it up so quickly and very proud of her.
(only slightly embarassed when she ran into a person on the second day of riding.....remember the no stopping problem)
Now if the weather would just stay warm we would be good. WHY does Utah never have real spring weather?????????

New Cousin

My sister had her baby on April 23rd and we are all super excited to have cousins on this side of the family and living so close. Caitie brought her little guy over today and the kids were in heaven. They were almost more excited than when Lorilei was born. Jcoelyn got really jealous with two babies here and wasn't being very nice to them, but she eventually got used to it (or maybe it was distracted by the popcorn I gave her....)

Two and a half months makes quite the difference.

This boy is LONG and has HUGE hands and feet. I tried to measure their hands and it looked like his fingers were longer than hers. Granted Lorilei is one of my smaller kids in that area but still!

I only had the camera out for a minute and she happened to be the one that was holding him. I have crazy pictures of the other kids but they just don't go with this post. That was lame....sorry.
New babies are the best and are pretty darn cute.

New Scooters

We got some scooters for Jaxon and Jocelyn since they always wanted to ride Ryker's and Reagan's. They spent two days outside on the scooters and really not wanting to do anything else. Every time they came in or we left and then came back they were asking if they could go outside. It is nice to see them playing and having something of their own. Plus look at these happy faces




Lorilei had to have her first ride as well. You just can't resist making a baby do things like this. It is funny.

Too bad it is cold and rainy today and for the rest of the week at least. They are driving me crazy in the house all day.

2 months

Lorilei is now 2 months old. She went in for her well check yesterday and she now weighs 11 lbs 11 oz and is 21.6 inches long. She is growing well and is doing well developmentally. She smiles a lot but I never want to leave her when she is to get the camera so I still don't have a picture of it. Some day.

Reagan had a well check yesterday as well and got her shots for kindergarten. It is crazy that she is going to kindergarten!! I always worried that she was behind developmentally but it turns out she is way ahead too. That made me relax a bit.

Happenings

So the title makes it seem like we have had a lot of things going on but really these are just random pictures I have taken in the last few weeks.

Sleeping babies are always irresistible. (she is sick here so she is pale but still cute)

Babies is taking a bath..... also very cute. She LOVES the bath or shower. Right up until you lift her out of the water.

Reagan and Jocelyn are always trying to help. They are actually good at helping and have some great motherly instincts.

Not the most flattering but she is looking are Ryker. Makes it precious.

All of my kiddos. They are always gung-ho about taking pictures but they never sit still or smile together. Oh well. Still makes memories.

This one is a preview of my week. Everyone has been sick (note the runny nose). I have used 3 boxes of tissues in the past week or so. Lorilei got sick as well. It turns out it is RSV.......not fun. So we are watching her and hoping she continues to improve. Other than that things are going great around here. Just waiting for the warm weather and trying to take advatage of it when it comes. It better come quick because we are all going crazy stuck in the house all the time.

Oh yeah, I took Lorilei in for her 2 weeks appointment and she weighed 8 lbs 4 oz. A whole pound over her birth weight. When the Dr. asked if she was eating well I just laughed. Yeah I think she is doing good in that department. (and 21 inches long (2 up from birth) for those who care.

LORILEI EVELYN RICHARDS

Lorilei Evelyn was born on Februar 14th 2010 at 9:03 a.m. after being in labor for 1 hour. (yes folks that is right)She came fast and furious, there was no slowing her down. She weighed in at 7lbs 4 oz and was 19 inches long. She was for sure a girl cause she came out very pink. So far (in 31 hours) she has been great. She only cries when she is hungry or gets disturbed from a comfy spot. But when she wants to be heard she is heard! She has got some lungs!


The kids all absolutely love her. Jocelyn wants to be the only one that can hold her and she wants to hold her ALL the time. I can see that she is jealous too but hopefully once the newness of everything wears off she will get better with that. Everyone comes running when she cries and wants to make sure she is okay. But they are certainly cute!

We left the hospital today around 11 am. (I HATE the hospital and always get out as soon as I can) She is doing great and doesn't even need a follow up belli rubin. (?) All the kids came and picked us up and they were there normal cute but very curious selves. We left and loaded up a FULL car.

Of course the minute we got home everyone HAD to hold her. (more tears from Jocelyn) But like I said before, how can you resist when they are SO CUTE?!!!!!

Jocelyn turns 2

Jocelyn is now 2!!! I realized that this is the only time that I have had a 2 year old without another baby around. Anyway, we had a good time keeping it pretty low key. (too many pregnant people and other things going on) Jocelyn had fun and decided to open her presents when she was ready instead of waiting for me to tell her to. Fine by me. She does know that she is 2 and if you ask her she will tell you. I love this girl, she is always making me and all of us laugh. Her favorite is playing games with the big kids. She keeps up really well and enjoys doing what they do. She likes going to nursery now which is great. I love this girl.
I know the picture isn't of just Jocelyn but still....... Reagan was being sweet and cute. Can't pass that up.

Crazy Dress day

Ryker had "crazy dress day" at school. So this is the outfit we came up with. He was also wearing one snow boot and one tennis shoe. It was quite the look. I forgot that he was wearing this when I got him from the bus and when I saw him I just laughed. Snazzy!
