Short legs movin'

Lorilei started walking this past week. It has been so fun to watch her learn this. She thinks she is so big and is very proud of herself.

Yesterday while walking around the other girls started doing "head, shoulders, knees, and toes" Lorilei went right over with them and was trying to mimick what they were doing. It was so funny. She was even "singing"

YEA!

She is so happy!

This little girl is so silly. She says "no, no, no" "mom" and pretty much just jabbers all the time. She blows kisses if you say "bye" or "night night" She waves if you says "hi" She loves to eat. Most of the time she has a grahm cracker, or at least a grahm cracker face. She loves to sing and dance and play anything the big kids are playing. We sure love her. Jocelyn still thinks she can follow her around and carry her or block her if she thinks she is doing something wrong. Lorilei hates it and so do I most of the time. At least Jocelyn is looking out for her.

Mid-January Fun

We went swimming yesterday. That's right swimming. I didn't bring my camera because a) the water. Not really worth the risk b) Some pools don't allow cameras because they don't know if you are taking pictures of other kids in swim suits. That is fine by me. I understand.

So no pictures, but we went and it was fun. Everyone had a good time and I am sure now that we went I won't be able to use "it isn't swimming weather" as an excuse. Which means we will probably be going again.

You should all come too!

Slack-tastic

I bet everyone was hoping/expecting pictures to go with this post. NOPE. I find myself with absolutely NO desire to blog. Not even about our Christmas. Don;t get me wrong Christmas was great, my kids were SPOILED, and they were super cute, but still no motivation. You can pretty much expect to never see a post about this Christmas.

Also, everyone is putting their goals for 2011 on their blog. You will not find that here. I don't really want to talk about goals. They are too depressing. The reality is that it will not be accomplished and then at the end of the year I will feel like a failure. At least if I don't mention goals no one knows I failed except me.

Can you tell the "January Blues" took hold. A little early. Oh well what can you do.

I don't even know what else to say. I just want to sit and do nothing all day (not an option) which in turn makes me a bad mother, which then makes me upset with myself, which makes me more upset. It is a vicious cycle.

Sorry to depress everyone. Just wanted to say we are alive and did have a good Christmas I just don't want to post about it.
