5 Years old

Reagan turned 5! She had a great Birthday.
On her actual Birthday we tried to go to the reservior with Caitie but we didn't stay long because it wasn't very warm. We went to a park and ate lunch and Skyler showed up because he took half the day off for her. While at the park a storm blew in (I mean really blew in. We were standing there and then a huge wind came that made branches fall off of a tree there) so we decided we better leave before lightening started. Pretty much as soon as we got home it started POURING. So we stayed inside and played games. Later Reagan got to go to dinner with just me and Skyler. (and Lorilei) First we went and got her ears peirced then we went to PF Changs. Then she got to go pick out some more ear rings for when we can take out the studs.

On Sunday we had a party with the fam. She got a bunch of fun stuff. (Thanks to everyone)

For her cake she wanted and cake that was stacked and just had cute stuff on it. EASY PEASY. So we did. She requested I draw a dress on the top. This girl is SERIOUSLY in to clothes.

Happy Birthday to Reagan! She gets to start Kindergaten next week. She will LOVE it, and I can't wait to see her grow and learn.

Holes

We have had quite the month when it comes to "holes".
First Ryker lost both his front teeth. We had to force him to pull them out. Don't think me a bad mother, they were literally just hanging there. They HAD to come out before he ended up swallowing them or something. (Please note: I did take a picture of him too, but lets just say it was not something people want to look at.)
Reagan lost her FIRST TOOTH! It is super cute when they have only one perfect little hole in their mouth.
Also Reagan got her ears peirced for her birthday. I think we made it worse by trying to prepare her for it. At the same time I wouldn't want her to get it done with out knowing what to expect. She did awesome though. She didn't have any reactions when we got home and had barely any pain. Plus it is cute.

We have also had holes being filled so to speak. Lorilei now has 2 teeth.
All these little kiddos are growing up.

Some day......

Some day I will teach my kids to play the piano.....(at least the basics) Some day they will enjoy to make music......(I mean REAL music) Some day they will all play a song together.........

Until then they can "play" like this........because, let's face it, it is cute.

Ape to Man

Here is the first of I am sure MANY pictures taken of these 3.

The picture taking was quite humerous. Lorilei isn't a "lay on the ground" type of babe anymore, Paxton was super tired and there was just WAY too much noise little Maddox was just chill. I think he squirmed for a second when he got wacked in the face with a flailing hand. At any rate they are seriously cute kids. I LOVE having kids (a kid for now) that will be able to grow up with my sister's kids. LOVE IT! I hope they don't fight too much when they are older.
P.S. Paige---the title to this post in no way refers to your child as an ape......after all is mine a man?

Boating Fun

Mom and Pop have a boat and they took us boating a couple of weekends. It is SO fun! And yet I am pretty stressed out the whole time because I don't want any of the mini's to fall in the water. But I am paranoid what can I say.
Anyway, in this top picture on the water weenie (so it is called a water rocket but should be called a weenie.) we are at Deer Creek.

Notice the clouds....After this the "older" people got on for a ride in which Jon (we had his in-laws boat that day too) was trying to turn the weenie over. Well right when he was about to give up, it starts pouring down rain, and ice. It was quite the adventure. I was shielding kids and they were scared and everyone got wet and it was fun. Some of the best times we have had have happened in a rain storm. It took a long time to get out of the water because everyone wanted to get out at the same time, but hey, we survived.

This picture is to prove Jax was with us when we went to Strawberry because he was having nothing to do with the water that day.
Skyler trying to tip the tube
We got bored of waiting for him to crash so I told him to jump. SPLASH!
Like the above pictures of Skyler, here are the kids on the tube when we went to Strawberry.

Jocelyn was brave and tried it too. She did really well until she got splashed in the face.

Ryker and Skyler thought they were cool and were switching spots while moving. I think they were just bored and wanted to spice things up. They never fell off, but they jumped off when it was stopped.
We had a great time boating, I could do it everyday. The kids would get bored of it I am sure but I love sitting on the boat.

Join the Ranks

Since Lorilei is sitting up and she can eat "solid" food we bought (another) "hook on" high chair.

Now all the chickens fight for who gets to sit by baby.

Good Clean Fun

Since the weather has been so hot the kids don't want to go outside and play. I don't blame them cause I don't what to be out there with them. But sometimes I just want them to change what they are doing to cut down on the fighting. So I asked if they wanted to play in the pools, the answer was no. I went out there and saw that the pools were kind of gross from sitting with water for a while, so I dumped them out and squirted a bunch of soap in them and started to fill them up. When there were lots of bubbles I went and found the kidlets and told them something was wrong with the pool. They went running and found bubble baths.

After all that work they didn't even last an hour. But hey, a memory is a memory.
