One Sunday we went to feed the ducks. That isn't a real exciting thing in its self but then this time it wasn't just ducks. We saw all sorts of things. (probably not real cool to some people but for the kids it was super exciting)
First while throwing bread to the ducks we saw a muskrat. It was literally swimming under our feet. We put bread in one of its holes and he went to town for quite a while. And we could see him the whole time. (they are actually like of cute..)
Then while walking along the little stream Ryker spotted a crawdad.
It was pretty intense.
Sandy almost jumped in to get it because Skyler wasn't moving fast enough. I made her stop so we could actually stay and play. (if she did go in we would have had to leave and go to the hospital)
Skyler ended up catching it so everyone got a chance to hold it.

Now here is the story with this....
Ryker wears this silly baseball glove A LOT. He wears it all day.
Well Ryker is kind of a wuss pants. (only when it comes to bugs and stuff. Weird) He did not want to hold this thing. He was practically crying when he tried to get him to. So we told him that if he held it in his gloved hand then the crawdad couldn't pinch him. And if it tried it wouldn't hurt because of the glove. So he did it.

I have a picture of him smiling (only because Skyler told him to not because he was enjoying it) but this one kind of sums up how he really felt about it.

No surprise, the girls were the least scared........
(also, they all wanted to glove.....so we shared it)

Jax was a little less scared than Ryker.
After that we saw 4 pelicans (and watch them eat fish)
and then the kids were playing in the trees and being cute.
Since it was just a normal "go feed the ducks again" thought, I didn't bring my camera to capture all their cuteness......lesson learned.
p.s. these are phone pictures
